Found a property that I wanted and needed for work. I contacted the agency via email. Emails were not monitored during the day and were only responded to at the end of the day meaning that communication took way longer that it should have as they only replied once or twice and then you would need to wait until the end of the next day. They also delayed the process unnecessarily even when I informed them that I was going on holiday they refused my offer to pay the deposit and first month's rent upfront without viewing. I arranged a viewing with them but got emailed the day before telling me the appointment was cancelled as the property had been taken. The property was listed as not available for a couple weeks so it's not an issue of wanting a tenant in right away.

Overall terrible communication and delayed the process unnecessarily even though I was happy to take the property without seeing it and was happy to take it ASAP.

You pay a lot of money for rent to live in a nice area but the up keep and maintenance is never completed but they still want there money each month.

I recently purchased a property through the Whitchurch branch of Thomas H Wood. I was really impressed with the service I received. All of the staff were pleasant to deal with, easy to contact, and not at all pushy like many other estate agents I've dealt with. Special mention goes to Simon Dews who was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He had no problem answering my many questions and requests for additional viewings, surveys, etc. He quite literally went the extra mile for me, personally driving across Cardiff to collect and deliver a spare set of keys when I managed to lock myself out of the house within 10 minutes of arriving... You definitely won't get that service from your average estate agent! I'd like to say a big thank you to Simon and all the team.

Absolutely awful estate agents to deal with. I rented from them and nothing was ever done when stuff went wrong it took forever and on some occasions work never completed.
